Sheriff Greg Speck reports that Deputy Alex Wesley was arrested in connection with the death of a man in the parking lot of his office on Friday, June 27, 2014. We are saddened by the death of two of our customers in a shooting at the Southern Kentucky Sheriff's Office in Lexington, Kentucky. The roundabout was shot down as we opened the door to the office on the morning of Friday, June 28, 2014. Sheriff Gregory Aldridge said Sheriff Alexesley was arrested on Thursday, July 1, 2015, on suspicion of shooting at a police officer's car at a traffic stop on the east side of Lexington.
