The teachers are helpful and supportive and our overall experience has been very positive. The only negative I see is that it is not co-ed. I think the socialization of a co-ed environment is essential for their own growth but it's a minor point. They received an excellent education and were recognized by the state of NJ as Bloustein Scholars. At Mother Seton, they were given unique opportunities to participate in student government, to develop strong study skills and to become caring responsible young women. They also had a great time, making friends who shared the same values and getting to know teachers who were also mentors.The atmosphere was supportive and the curriculum challenging. It was great in freshman year but the only thing I really appreciated from it was the friendships she made. I would have to give credit to only few teachers, but most others treated my daughter and other students horribly. On the most part, the guidence department is the worst of all. Honestly, this school doesn't prepare the girls for college or real life.
